Japanese Style Katana
The Angus Trim Katana (ATK) is shown below with some samples of the
fully mounted blade. When purchasing an ATK sword you will have a
variety of
options to choose from regarding fittings, handle colors,
handle lengths, saya finishes and so forth. We also offer a variety
of upgrade options to make your sword even more custom and unique.

The ATK is modeled off of a blade smithed by Sukehiro during the
Shinto period (Edo era).

Styles of kissaki that are possible are ko (small)
kissaki, chu (medium) kissaki ,  O (large) kissaki
and shobuzukuri.

Nakago reflects the original design of the antique
by Sukehiro, and is a typically shaped kurijiri or
rounded shape.

The file pattern followed by craftsman Scott Irey is
most similar to sujikai (diagonal slant) which again
is fairly common and was used to accurately
portray that used on the original.
